Great LCD for the price January 5, 2009 D. Jenkins This is an excellent television for the price. Some people have mentioned the audio box coming up in the upper right hand corner of the screen. I had this problem as well, and it has to do with the signal coming into the TV. I had a coaxial hook up from my cable box to the TV and was having this problem. I fixed this problem by purchasing the standard RCA cables (Red, white, Yellow) and hooking them up from my cable box to the television. You could also use component cables or the HDMI input if supported by your cable box. This will solve the problem. The picture clarity is excellent, the sound is not great, but it is decent for a flat screen TV. Excellent TV.
BEST RESOLUTION THAN VIZIO AND SANYO December 31, 2008 Elder (LOS ANGELES) WELL" I BOUGHT THIS TV 2 WEEKS AGO AT WALMART FOR $499., MY BROTHER IS SO MAD BECAUSE HE BOUGHT A 32" VIZIO LCD AND WHEN HE SAW MINE HE WAS BLOWN,,, THE RESOLUTION IS PERFECT AND THE LOOK TOO, LOOKS FANCY MATERIAL NOT CHEAP LIKE SANYO OR VIZIO POLAROID OR OTHER NON FAMOUS BRANDS,,, IM HAPPY WITH IT. THE ONLY THING THEY SHOULD DO TO BE PERFECT IS THE SOUND,,ITS ALMOST AS LOUD AS OTHER TVS,,,
Great picuture, Excellent as a monitor December 21, 2008 J. Oborny (Kansas City, KS United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I picked this up at best buy for $400 on a special. It's now back at $600. I hooked it up to my computer as a monitor, and it is fantastic. The resolution is decent, and for a mid-range HDTV with 720p, I doubt you will find a better deal out there. I run a DVI to HDMI cable from my computer to the TV and it works great. I've also played DVDs and streaming HD on the TV and both look fantastic. I wish I had enough money to purchase a 1080p TV with higher resolution, but for a HDTV on a budget, this is a great find. There are other non-name brands out there that are basically Chinese pieces of crap, but there's no reason to buy something substandard when you can get one of these beauties. Stay away from something like "Dynex". I'll bet this TV goes on sale again or gets a price drop.
Very happy with purchase December 13, 2008 D. S. (Texas) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This was on Special at another store this week for 399.00 . We had a 32 inch lcd Toshiba that did not have a coaxial cable. Which was fine except when cable went out. The side by side comparison this set wins. The standard channels are great the hd channels are bright and vivid. The scrolling text for weather reports are easy to read. The set up was a breeze. Everything was labeled very nicely in the back. This set does have a shiny mat backing . But all in all very pleased with the set. Oh the sound is nice for this set as well. Clear no rattles hisses or buzzes in the background.
Great 32 inch LCD TV December 12, 2008 R. W. Russell (Lodi, CA United States) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
I bought mine 6 months ago and would buy it again. Even though it's only 720p, that's not a problem with a 32 inch display. The HD picture (via an over the air antenna in my case) is outstanding. The set is easy to set up and configure, and has a very good remote.
